Mish Middelmann

Leadership experience

Mish co-founded in 1993 and served as first CEO of Praxis Computing (Pty) Ltd, an entrepreneurial computer software and services business. Praxis pioneered in embracing the diversity of South Africa to enable business creativity – and continues today as a successful black-owned and managed firm.

In 2007 he gave up his CEO position to become non-executive chair of Praxis before a complete exit  in 2009. It was painful, exhilarating and a powerful leadership learning experience to step out of all that power and responsibility!

Over the period 2003 to 2013 Mish also volunteered as a community builder for a men’s development organization, leading a team pioneering its growth in the Johannesburg region and later serving as national director and international committee member for the global organization.

In 2012 Mish founded a new business and started the new industry of systemic team coaching in South Africa, bringing the globally-acclaimed Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) to sub-Saharan Africa. After training over 900 people in the methodology, Mish passed on that business to a pan-African team at CRR Afrika in 2020. In 2023 he and his wife moved to Toronto, Canada to be closer to their adult children in North America.
